Pull Up: A Richmond Salon
Come meet the people doing essential work in this city and actually talk to them.
Richmond is in an interesting place right now. A lot of new people have moved here with no map for how to be in this city. A lot of longtime residents are still putting themselves back out there, even years after lockdown. Everyone's dealing with economic pressure and the particular exhaustion of being online all the time. And yet, people want to show up. They just don't always know where.
Pull Up is Roundabout Richmond's answer to that.
On April 21st we're hosting a living room-style evening at Studio Two Three. Browse tables from thirteen Richmond organizations, eat focaccia hot dogs from Still Sunday, then spend the heart of the night in two rounds of small group conversations — each guided by questions from the Roundabout community, each with a different mix of people and orgs at the table. At the end everyone comes back together.
The night looks like this:
6:00 — Doors open, tabling, hot dogs
7:00 — Intros from each org rep
7:25 — Round 1 small groups
7:55 — Round 2 small groups
8:25 — Full room dialogue
8:45 — Open close
Post a question on Roundabout when you arrive and be one of the first 300 people to get a free focaccia dog.
Roundabout Richmond is a community platform built for real neighbors. Find us there to follow along before April 21st.
