🥾Healing Hike + Domestic Violence Supply Drive—NJ
Join Charlotte + Desiree in Hainesport, New Jersey for a 3.9 mile hike at Rancocas State Park and a Domestic Violence Supply Drive in support of Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM).
For this hike, we will be collecting items to donate to the Providence House Domestic Violence Services. They provide services and a safe house to support survivors of domestic abuse in Burlington County, NJ. Their most needed items are listed below:
Laundry & dishwasher pods
Liquid hand & dish soap
Disinfecting spray & wipes
Bathroom cleaner
Paper towels
Toilet paper (single-ply only)
Tissues
Trash bags (kitchen and large black bags)
Swiffer mops, dusters, pads
Sponges
Please bring your items at check-in for our hosts to collect.
Additionally, we will donated 7.23% of all proceeds to the Providence House. Why 7.23%? The DV Hotline number 1.800.799.SAFE (7233). If anyone would like to make an additional monetary donation please visit their donation page.

Preparation:
Please wear appropriate trailers, sneakers (with tread) or hiking boots.
Bring a snack and at least 24oz of water (hydrate with electrolytes)
Bug spray and sunscreen are highly recommended.
Free parking lot at our trailhead
This is NOT a stroller-friendly trail.
Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
Restrooms: There is access to bathrooms via portable potty’s.
