Speaker Bio
Mikkel Hartmann’s work on Coal began with a simple question: could paid advertising bring affordable wishlists to Dinolords? Answering it meant looking beyond the ads, exposing the practical difficulties of connecting marketing activity with Steam results. Drawing on his background in experimental physics, data science and mobile marketing, he co-founded Coal to make testing ideas and acting on the results part of everyday marketing. Today, he works with game teams to put that approach into practice, helping them learn from real audiences throughout development and build sustainable businesses beyond launch.
