​About Crosscurrents Summit

​A current alone is simply a direction of travel. Two currents meeting is turbulence. Three currents meeting is a crosscurrent, the point at which the old maps stop working and something new has to be drawn. For most of the last century, capital, creativity, and community lived on separate maps. Money was allocated by institutions that didn't make culture. Culture was made by people who didn't have capital. Community was organized by neither, and courted by both from a distance.

​The Crosscurrent Summit aspires to bring the most influential and important attendees of the festival together to discuss and debate critical issues facing the regional technology and creativity ecosystem. To do this, we will be curating an exclusive audience of 150+ global and regional fund managers, founders of fast growing technology companies, notable content creators around the world and heads of conglomerates.
