Quantum Night by Aalto Founder School

⚛️ Quantum Night by Aalto Founder School

Quantum computing is the next big thing and Finland is building companies at the forefront of that transition - from full-stack quantum hardware to algorithms and software.

For this Quantum Night by Aalto Founder School, we're bringing together two people close to the action to explore what’s actually happening in quantum right now. and where it could go next.

🔬 Mikko Möttönen / Co-founder of IQM Quantum Computers and QMill.

IQM builds full-stack superconducting quantum processors and systems, became a €1B+ unicorn in 2025, and is now listed on Nasdaq in 2026.

QMill builds near-term quantum algorithms, circuit compression software and quantum-safe security solutions, and has secured a €4M seed round plus a €1M Business Finland grant.

⚛️ Sreekrishna Praveen / AFS S26 and co-founder of Aalto Quantum (AQua), will host the conversation and bring the student and emerging-builder perspective into the room.
