Every one of those choices shortens the road from a Canadian idea to a Canadian patient, and builds the strength of the sector behind it.
Twenty of them get the stage on Wednesday 30 September in Mississauga.
Why now
Buy Canadian took effect in December 2025, with health named as one of five strategic sectors. In June, the threshold for Canadian preference dropped from $25 million to $5 million.
A new device still takes more than a year, best case, to get from a lab to a bedside. The people who keep building here are how that number moves.
The evening
Everyone speaks, everyone will tell us why they closed to build, fund, and work here, everyone is rightfully celebrated. Then food, drinks and the room until nine.

All prices are inclusive of HST.
