AI is changing how boards govern and decide. Board members are accountable for AI-driven decisions, yet the frameworks to evaluate these decisions are still catching up. Nomination committees increasingly look for AI fluency when adding new members.
AI for Boards from 2nd Careers builds the fluency to navigate board governance in the AI-era. It focuses on the decisions boards make on AI regulation, procurement, data, and security. With the right decision frameworks and tools, AI-fluent directors and boards don't have to choose between speed and oversight. They can move fast on AI, while governing its risks responsibly.

Dr Anand Rao - Dr Rao is a distinguished professor at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College. He specializes in Responsible AI, Operationalizing AI, and Agentic Technology. His extensive network spans academia, venture capital, and global technology governance bodies
Sushma Rajagopalan - Sushma is a seasoned technology executive with over three decades of global experience. She is a Partner at Rittenhouse Ventures, an investor in B2B SaaS (Digital Health and HR Tech). She is also the Co-Founder of 2nd Careers.
