Deep Mind, Sky Body: Meditation and Yoga Immersion
Location: El 7 Estudio
Dates: July 10 + 11 + 12, 2026
Times:
• Meditation Immersion: 9am-1pm
• Yoga Immersion: 2.30-5.30pm
Most of us have tried the apps, the retreats, the solo practice and felt that something was still missing.
This three-day immersion brings together Tibetan Buddhist meditation, dharma, and yoga as one integrated system. A complete and coherent practice that explains how your mind works, why your body matters, and how these two paths have always belonged together.
Over three mornings and three afternoons, you will build a foundation that is both philosophically grounded and immediately applicable to your real life. You leave knowing what you're doing and why, with a practice you can actually sustain.
🌿 Visualization Meditation Immersion Mornings with Hector Marcel · 9am–1pm
Tibetan Buddhist meditation is, at its heart, a form of mental training. These practices were not designed to help you escape your life, they were designed to help you understand it: how thoughts arise, how habits form, how perception shapes everything you experience.
This immersion offers a grounded, structured introduction to Tibetan Buddhist visualization meditation as it has been practiced and transmitted for centuries, taught in a way that is clear, rigorous, and immediately relevant to modern life.
Through guided practice, teaching, and discussion, you will explore:
How attention is trained and sustained in meditation
Core Buddhist principles that explain how and why meditation works
Emptiness and karma in relation to everyday experience
Preliminary practices and inner guide meditation
Cultivating love and compassion as part of a balanced path
Open to both experienced meditators and those newer to practice. No prior background in Buddhism required, only a genuine interest in understanding meditation as a meaningful, lifelong discipline rather than a quick fix.
Your Guide: Hector Marcel
Hector Marcel is President of Three Jewels, a nonprofit Enlightenment Studio founded in New York City in 1996. He has been studying Tibetan Buddhist philosophy and meditation since the mid-1990s and has spent decades teaching these practices to students, teachers, and organizations around the world.
His approach is known for its clarity, intellectual rigor, and warmth, and his ability to meet practitioners exactly where they are, whether they are sitting for the first time or deepening a practice of many years. Opportunities to study with a teacher of this depth, in an intimate in-person setting, are genuinely rare.
This Barcelona immersion coincides with Three Jewels' 30th anniversary.
🌟 Tibetan Buddhist Yoga Immersion Afternoons with Rachel Webb & Sachi Pettit · 2:30–5:30pm
Tibetan Buddhist yoga approaches the body not as a fitness practice but as an essential part of inner transformation. Movement, breath, and visualization are used together, not to perform a posture, but to create the inner conditions for clarity, stability, and insight.
Rooted in the Gelugpa tradition of the Dalai Lamas, this immersion explores yoga as a method for working with both the physical and subtle body in direct support of meditation practice.
You will explore:
Using asana in direct connection with meditation and insight
The relationship between breath, posture, and intention
Working skillfully with the subtle body
Developing stability, sensitivity, and internal focus
Integrating dharma and yoga into a practice that is sustainable and genuinely meaningful
Open to yoga teachers, dedicated practitioners, and those newer to yoga who are curious about a lineage-based approach that goes beyond flexibility or fitness. No prior experience with Tibetan Buddhism required.
Your Guides: Rachel Webb & Sachi Pettit
Rachel and Sachi are Co-Executive Directors of Three Jewels NYC and have spent years teaching yoga and leading teacher trainings within a Tibetan Buddhist framework. Their approach brings together precision and accessibility, honoring both the depth of the tradition and the realities of modern life. They teach with warmth, clarity, and a genuine understanding of how yoga and dharma inform each other.
A Complete Immersion
Each program is designed to stand on its own, but together, they form something greater. The meditation and yoga immersions are two dimensions of one coherent path, and experiencing them alongside each other over three days creates an understanding that neither could offer alone.
Participants are strongly encouraged to attend both.
