Failed It | Founder's Fuckup Night
Every founder has a story they don't tell at pitch meetings. A decision that seemed smart until it wasn't. A product nobody wanted. A team that fell apart. A moment where everything went sideways.
Failed It is an evening for entrepreneurs, startup founders, and C-levels to share those stories — honestly, without filters, and yes, always with humor.
What to expect:
3 speakers. Real failure stories. Then drinks and genuine conversations with people who get it.
Matt Turzo. Serial COO who scaled Wind Mobility from 1 city to 12 countries, built Lyft's compliance org from 0 to 68 people, and drove 15x revenue growth at Flare — all while hiring 150+ people across three continents. He now advises European startups as Operating Partner at Samaipata.
Matt will share What happens when you make people very happy with unexpected bonuses and What happened when Wind Mobility decided to launch in Barcelona without asking first.
Serge Kuznetsov. Serial founder who has built and sold companies across fintech, hardware, and e-commerce — and is now co-founder of INXY Payments, processing $2B/year.
Serge will be sharing how to pull off the Worst possible security failures in a financial product — and how to crawl back out.
Igor Lyubimov is a founder and YC alum who spent 15+ years scaling B2C mobile products. Now Igor runs web2wave, a platform helping mobile apps bypass app store fees and boost revenue through web funnels.
Igor will be talking about How to get PTSD from vibecoding.
