Learn visible mending with Cat from sew+sew studio, the most colorful studio in philadelphia! In this one day workshop we will cover basic hand stitching techniques to keep your favorite clothes looking fresh and staying in rotation. Bring your jackets, jeans, and beyond! We will supply scrap fabric if you just want to learn the techniques for later.
Meet your teacher:
Cat aka Sew+Sew Studio has been sewing for over 20 years. Aside from a sewist they are also a pattern maker and do private label design. Cat has worked in film+tv, garment production, tailoring and once upon a time had a bicycle trailer pop-up shop. Easy to say sewing has always been a part of my life. They also enjoy jigsaw puzzles and Bob's Burgers among other things.
