Our guest speaker for this evening is Ushma Issar, Health-ing Systems Innovator, working at the frontier of health-ing, the continuous, collective practice of creating the conditions for people, communities, and ecosystems to thrive. As CEO of Rypple, a global health ecosystem hub, she focuses on shifting societies from reactive, disease-driven systems toward preventive, regenerative, and economically viable pathways for wellbeing.
Her work bridges health policy, economics, and systems thinking, translating complex evidence into practical tools that help governments, organisations, and communities act on prevention, equity, and long-term resilience. Rather than treating health as a sector, Ushma approaches it as a societal capability, shaped by how we design incentives, governance, environments, and relationships.

Energiekas is a cultural test-site that offers space for imagination, experimentation, and encounters at the intersection of art, climate, and science. A place to explore new ways of seeing, growing, creating, building, and living together. EnergieKas is a non-profit, bottom-up and hands-on project.
At our brand new StadsLab we reimagine the existing city. How do we design regenerative, climate-adaptive and just ways of living together, from street to region and from civic initiative to institutional policy? StadsLab is a collaboration between EnergieKas and Popdistrict.
About Popdistrict & Pop Sessions
Popdistrict is a 25,000 m² cultural institution with a tramline running straight through its centre. The district’s public space connects dozens of locations housing creative entrepreneurs and cultural organisations, while also providing a stage for numerous music festivals, including Sniester, Grauzone, and Rewire.
During Pop Sessions, we come together to explore the questions that concern us. One of these questions is how we collectively organise space in our city. Who has access? Who decides? What collective models can we apply? And who holds the power?
Each Pop Session consists of a lecture, conversation, and short workshop. Afterwards, there will be space to continue the discussion informally.
