Sunset Dance Jam on the Beach #24

​Fifth Alameda Dance Jam of 2026, this time on a Friday (Sept 25th) starting at 6pm at the same location again like August for ongoing safety concerns … will be at Crown Beach behind the Beach Park Restroom building — enter large lot at Otis Dr and Westline Dr. (lot entrance closes 7pm.) and walk on path towards Crab Cove. If you arrive after 7, use Washington Park lot near dog park and tennis courts, it's a short walk from there.

​Prepare to boogie down with DJ Meglennial who rocked the whole jam last month, sharing sets with a new addition to our mix: DJ Rafi Ocean, an Alameda-based DJ (links below) who will be playing mixed format and styles and progressing to his happy place of soulful house.

The last month dance jam in August was a cooler night with a smaller buy intense dancing crowd. Hoping for a ray of warm sunset in our September jam. With a new talent and new vibe on board in the rotation, this is a good one to join in and let loose.

​So for this next dance, grab a hoodie or a blanket just in case, and grab a friend too and head down to Otis Dr and Westline Dr. at 6:00pm on Friday Sept 25th to dance together with co-hosts Deirdre, Angie, Noel and Co-DJs: DJ Meglennial and DJ Rafi Ocean, with Bluetooth speakers provided by MAKEBOOMBOXES.com.

​The dance is on the beach behind the bathhouse at Crown Beach, Alameda. We are trying to dance at sunset by starting around 6:00 and wrap about 9:00 (cause it can get mad cold after sunset). We may go longer if weather permits. Family friendly.
