What: Leon Maksin works on evals at OpenAI, where he's currently defining the next evaluation north star for research. His previous work spans model autonomy, eval systems, auditing, and eval science. His talk will explore what it means to build a good eval and how alignment and capabilities intersect with evals at OpenAI.
No specific technical background is required - we welcome all interested students who are eager to learn! As with all CAIA events, we will have pizza and boba!
