Demo Night: Space & You
Step into the role of an astronaut navigating a series of escalating space emergencies.
In collaboration with Mission SpaceWalker, this interactive demo, you’ll be challenged to respond to critical system alerts using real hardware controls - buttons, sensors, dials, and more, all while under the pressure of alarms, flashing lights, and a rapidly ticking mission timer.
Your objective: maintain control and ensure mission survival by making the correct decisions in real time. A delayed or incorrect response could mean catastrophic failure.
But it’s not just about playing, you’ll also get a behind-the-scenes look at how these systems are built. Learn how alarms, sensors, and feedback mechanisms are created using Arduino and electronics, then put your knowledge to the test by stepping into “panic mode” yourself.
Whether you’re here to test your reflexes, dive into human-computer interaction, or explore embedded systems in action, this demo blends technical learning with game-like intensity for a challenge you won’t forget.
