The Advancing Growth, Innovation & Leadership for Enterprises (AGILE) Project is an initiative funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC), operated under the governance of the Ministry of Finance, with the Agency of Private Enterprise and Cooperative Development (APED) serving as the project owner, and implemented by a consortium of WUSC and Sarona Asset Management and local partners. AGILE aims to enhance the climate resilience of over 90,000 vulnerable individuals by fostering an inclusive business ecosystem for climate enterprises (CEs) - specifically those owned by, led by, or serving women. The project drives systemic change across three core pillars: strengthening enterprise support organizations, mobilizing inclusive private capital, and expanding the deployment of Gender Lens Investing (GLI) mechanisms.
World University Service of Canada (WUSC) is a Canadian non-profit organization working across 30 countries to create a world where every young person thrives and belongs. In collaboration with over 250 global partners, WUSC directly reached more than 200,000 people in 2024–2025, equipping youth and women with the skills and resources to secure jobs, launch businesses, and lead in their communities. Active in Vietnam since 1991, WUSC partners with government institutions, the private sector, and civil society to advance an inclusive green economy and strengthen community resilience. Supported by the Government of Canada through Global Affairs Canada, WUSC has delivered high-impact initiatives including the Skills for the Labour Market (STLM) project - reaching over 200,000 youth - alongside the IGNI+E and FSSP programs.
