Jozi Kaingang, Watatakalu Yawalapiti, Puyr Tembé and Jaqueline Aranduhá the leaders of ANMIGA (National Association of Indigenous Women Warriors), are joining us from Brazil to share their perspectives on the impacts of the climate crisis, highlighting the role of Indigenous women in protecting biomes and discussing the challenges of accessing direct, accessible and bureaucracy-free climate financing.
Federal Deputada Sônia Guajajara will be in conversation with activist from the Ecuadorian Amazon Helena Gualinga.
Creator of #TOGETHERBAND and the We Are All Forests movement Cameron Saul will share reflections about the role of the socio-bioeconomy as a vital tool for conservation.
We will screen the Nat Geo short film (15 mins) Warriors with Director Maiara Walsh joining us, especially from Rio de Janeiro.
