How does the event work?
Investors Speed Dating runs as a series of 1-on-1 sessions. Each startup has up to 10 minutes to pitch to each investor in the session. Investor demand for this format is high, so when investors outnumber startups, two investors may join the same pitch together.
The goal is to connect with a large number of investors in a short time and on a minimal budget, make a strong first impression and qualify for an advanced due diligence phase. Investment decisions happen after the event, during the due diligence phase.
Which investors will I meet?
The lineup changes with every edition and is published 1-2 weeks before the event, based on investor confirmations. Yes, every participating investor is actively deploying. Each fund sets its own process and timeline, in line with industry standards. You can discuss these details with each fund directly during your session.
Do they invest in equity or tokens?
Most funds invest through a mix of equity and tokens. A smaller number invest through equity only. The structure depends on each fund’s mandate.
What ticket sizes and rounds do they look at?
Tickets range from $25K to $1M depending on the fund, across rounds from Pre-Seed to Series A.
What results can I expect?
On average, each startup receives 3 to 5 follow-up meetings for deeper due diligence. Results depend on the startup’s maturity, the strength of the project, how well the team presents and the interest of the investors in the session.

Yes. SunDAO takes part in every edition as one of the investors. Startups that perform well and fit the SunDAO investment thesis are invited to a deeper due diligence and to pitch to SunDAO for a potential investment.
