About Event

The IPCC Expert Meeting on Methodologies, Metrics and Indicators for Assessing Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation (AMMI) was convened in March 2026, in Accra Ghana, to support IPCC's authors and the development of technical guidance on assessing climate change impacts and adaptation.

This session will present and discuss the recently released AMMI report and explore how its findings can support evidence collection, assessment approaches of adaptation, and explore their relevance for addressing persistent challenges in assessing adaptation progress and effectiveness.

Building on insights generated through the AMMI process, the session will bring together scientists, IPCC experts, policymakers, and practitioners to discuss how emerging evidence can support decision-making and adaptation planning.
