About Event

Join us for an evening in Boston (Kendall Square) with Sydney Runkle from the OSS team at LangChain, and Dillon Jones from the Engineering team at Blitzy.

Most teams can build agents, but far fewer have the infrastructure or know-how to run them reliably in production. In this meetup, Sydney will walk through what it actually takes to deploy long-running agents and the runtime capabilities that make it possible. We'll cover how to:

Deploy agents with durable execution so runs survive crashes, deploys, and long waits for human input
Use checkpoints and memory stores
Add human-in-the-loop gates for consequential decisions

We'll also discuss how teams operationalize this in practice, from sandboxed code execution to scheduled runs and open integrations via MCP and A2A.

Then, Dillon will share how they are building agents at Blitzy!
