Alt Cloud Meetup
From Databricks, Cloudflare, and CoreWeave to Lovable.dev, Vercel and Together.ai, a new class of specialized "Alt Clouds" (check out our GitHub awesome list) are changing what's possible with technology.
We think this group can benefit from connecting, so we’re trying out an informal, geeky, growth-oriented meetup for folks who build their value directly on top of infrastructure: GPU clouds, AI clouds, Data clouds, Developer clouds, connectivity cloud, sovereign clouds…you get the drift!
The Setup - We're interested in bringing a diverse community of operators together, first in NYC and then SF and other places. You can expect 25-50 founders/operators/leaders across functions; content that spans technical and business; a good dose of networking time; something fun around food and drink; and low to zero bullshit.
Mutual Aid - In the spirit of cooperation, we’ll invite attendees to fill out a “mutual aid” request. When you arrive, grab a notecard and share something that you really need help with - as a group we’ll try to help. Need to hire a hard to find role? Looking to get some 1:1 coaching on vibe coding? Curious about how to get your own IP space without getting ripped off? Need to noodle on two tier distribution models? Searching for that perfect intro at NVIDIA or a lead on a few megawatts of datacenter capacity? Think a bit in advance and then ask for it!
