Pre-Liquidity Workshop

A private workshop for founders nearing exit, focused on the realities of what comes next. The room will be deliberately small, with just 12 to 15 participants, to allow for a frank and useful conversation. Joining the group will be several exited entrepreneurs at different stages of their post-liquidity journey, offering a range of perspectives on what happens after the deal completes and the dust begins to settle.

​Alongside them will be a small number of experienced professionals, including an accountant and a banker, who understand the practical and financial decisions that often follow a liquidity event. The rest of the room will be made up of founders who are approaching exit themselves and want to think more clearly about how to prepare. Expertly facilitated by TIGER 21 Chair Mike McClelland, the session will draw on years of experience helping successful entrepreneurs think through the opportunities, challenges and decisions that arise from wealth.

​The discussion will cover more than just money. We expect to explore structure, liquidity planning and wealth management, but also the personal side of the transition, including identity, freedom, family, purpose and the unexpected emotional realities of life after exit. The aim is to create a thoughtful, experience-led session that helps founders approach liquidity with greater clarity, better judgement and a stronger sense of what they want the next chapter to look like.
