​Let's show some love to Shanghai, witness Chinese biotech in action, and enjoy some delicious post-donation snacks!

On the Biotech & Longevity side, a 2022 study in Mechanisms of Ageing and Development found that blood donation may improve skin aging by reducing iron deposits and increasing collagen-related TGF-β1. Consider this your chance to "be kind and rewind" (your skin aging) while you're here in Shanghai!

​Just bring your passport (for international visitors) or local ID (for Chinese citizens). In my previous donations in China as a foreign passport holder, I've found that both the registration and the donation itself were completed in under 10 minutes — it's super-efficient! They have a digital registration process that can be accessed in English too.

I'll be there (献血点(上海市血液中心本部) / Shanghai Blood Center, 1191 Hongqiao Rd, Changning District) at 11am, and it'd be fun to go in together as a group! However, it's also open 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM every day. It's 6 stops from muShanghai HQ on Line 10, just one block from Yili Road Station (伊犁路站), Exit 1, and both my Telegram & WeChat ID is "kenchester" if you need to reach me.

​我将于上午11点到达献血点（上海市血液中心本部）（地址：长宁区虹桥路1191号）。欢迎大家一起组团前往！当然，该献血点每日8:00 – 16:30 开放。从muShanghai总部乘坐地铁10号线只需6站，在伊犁路站下车，从1号口出站，步行一个街区即到。
