The Becoming Session: The Look Book Salon
THE BECOMING SESSIONS: The Look Book Salon
A Creative Salon on Style, Visibility & Evolution
What if we approached style not as trend or performance, but as a language of intention, authorship, and becoming?
Act II: The Look Book Salon
This second act is a mini book club meets creative salon, inspired by The Look by Michelle Obama.
You are welcome to explore the book in advance or bring your own copy. However, rather than framing this as required reading, the book will live in the room as a shared visual and cultural artifact. Together, we’ll explore the meaning and cultural nuance behind the images, silhouettes, and moments of Michelle Obama’s style evolution.
Through guided conversation, panel dialogue, and creative reflection, we’ll interrogate how confidence, visibility, collaboration, and care take shape through what we wear.
You’ll leave with a Style Declaration, a short, personal manifesto of your evolving aesthetic POV.
Why This Matters
Explore style as intention rather than trend
Reflect on visibility, confidence, and evolution through dress
