About Event

mySociety’s latest TICTeC work to improve the impacts of civic technology has taken its form in a collaboration with Sitra, the Finnish Innovation Fund.

Together, we have been conducting research exploring the development of a proposed European Civic Tech Hub, which the European Commission has committed to creating as part of its Democracy Shield.

Join us for this online event to hear and discuss key findings from the research, drawing on insights from 19 interviews with civic tech practitioners from across Europe.

The report explores what the EU Civic Tech Hub could do to strengthen the demand for, supply of, and implementation of civic tech across Europe, helping it to scale so more citizens can engage in democratic processes.

There will be time for audience questions and discussion, and the session will be recorded.
