Rope In The Vote: Pride Eve Drag Night
Make a friend. Find someone. Come for the drag. Leave with a voting partner.
Rope In The Vote is a Pride Eve drag night with Pepper Insult, Gyna Gunt, and Byanka Bangsum. Kick off Pride weekend with drinks, speed friending, Ballot Bingo, prizes, and a room full of people who all showed up for the same reason you did.
Not playing? Come anyway. Seats for the games in the Wheelhouse are limited, but there's plenty of room to hang out: the Fair Game tasting room is right next door and the whole Plant campus is yours to roam. Grab a drink, make a friend, and socialize before Pride weekend gets going.
You can still win, too. Fill out an interest card at the door, put your name in the jar, and you're in the door prize drawing at 9 whether you play or not.
About those prizes: two 5-day passes from Pittsboro Yoga, right here at The Plant, are up for grabs. The rest are surprises, but a hint: they could help with some pride weekend purchases at The Plant.
Come hungry. Grab dinner from Ta Contento or Kingston 99 before doors open, then find us in the Wheelhouse, the room right off the Fair Game tasting room. After bingo we spill out into the Fair Game tasting room for a last hour: get to know your new friends, make a plan to vote, plot your Pride weekend together.
7 PM · Doors at the Wheelhouse: charcuterie, name tags, door prize jar, find your people 7:30 · Speed friending, Pepper takes the mic 8 PM · Ballot Bingo 9 PM · Big prize and the door prize drawing, then next door into the tasting room: new friends, voting plans, Pride weekend plotting
Ballot Bingo comes with a bonus: a brand-new Chatham County chapter of LGBTQ+ Democrats of North Carolina launches that night. Want in? Say yes on the form when you register, or on the interest card at the door. That card is also your door prize entry.
18+ (21+ to drink). Free. Seats for the games are limited: register here to hold yours. If it's full, join the waitlist (we pull from it) or come hang out anyway.
Presented by The Lavender Social at The Wheelhouse, The Plant, Pittsboro.
