About Event
We are hosting an AMA with Danijar Hafner, who until recently was a Staff Research Scientist at Google DeepMind.
His research goal is to build generally intelligent machines that understand and interact with the world.
His research focus areas include:
- World Models (key papers: Dreamer 3);
-Temporal Abstraction — achieving long-term tasks by breaking them down into subgoals that enable abstract planning and are realized through low-level actions; and
- Self-improvement — exploring and practicing open-ended goals (key paper: Action Perception Divergence).
