About the Book
Women, Walking: Notes on Lives In Motion explores a spectrum of women’s experiences and perspectives on walking, from everyday strolls to epic treks that test courage and resolve.
Co-edited by ambling aficionados Zahra Ebrahim and Jane Farrow, this anthology features over thirty vignettes, essays, graphic art, poems, and interviews, with contributors discussing self-care, identity, social connection, grief, and cultural consciousness. For many, it's about revelling in the wonder of the wander, for others it's a political act.
