​📚 Join The Offline Club for a very special, very unhurried afternoon: a 5-hour immersive XL Slowwwww Reading Party in the company of Carl Honoré, pioneer of the global Slow Movement.
​No notifications. No squeezing reading between things.
​Just time — real, generous time — for books, music, ideas and meaningful conversation, during our longest event ever.
​This is not just another reading party. It’s a deep dive into slowness itself.
​From 3 pm to 8 pm, we will gather for five relaxed hours of reading, listening to live piano music, and enjoying creativity, connection, and Slow inspiration by Carl Honoré.

​Carl Honoré is an award-winning journalist, broadcaster and bestselling author. He is best known for his book In Praise of Slow, which sparked the worldwide Slow Movement.

After our long reading immersion, we’ll gather for an open and relaxed discussion with Carl. A Q&A moment to explore slowness, attention, time, and how to resist the constant pressure to hurry.

We'll switch off the microphone and open the space for conversation. Talk books, exchange recommendations, meet like-minded readers or simply listen. No pressure, no small talk required.

​If you’d like to leave earlier — for example after the Q&A with Carl — that’s absolutely okay. You’re free to follow your own rhythm.

​About your phone: Your phone will rest in our “phone hotel,” and we’ll be its bodyguards. But just so you know, if it magically disappears, learns to fly, or mysteriously breaks, The Offline Club can’t be held responsible.
