Join Barcelona for Build with Stripe Community: Simplify building your tech stack with AI—a short talk and hands-on hackathon.
The location is extra special as we will be running it inside the official Claude Community House in Barcelona. Understand how Claude (as the agent builder) works hand in hand with Stripe Projects to get your project live.
We'll explore how app development is changing, learn how Stripe Projects simplifies building your tech stack with AI agents, and then try it hands-on.
During this 90-minute session, you'll use Stripe Projects to provision a real dev stack from the terminal—database, auth, hosting, credentials—in one session. Pick a project idea, initialize it, add a service, and build.
This event is for people who build with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Codex, and anyone curious about how to move from an idea to a working app.
What you'll need
A laptop—tablets won't work for the hands-on portion.
An agentic coding environment, either IDE- or terminal-based.
A Stripe account. If you don't already have one, you can create one during the event.
A charger for your laptop.
Come ready to build, compare notes, and share what you get running.
Location
This is an in-person event in Barcelona, hosted at the Claude Community House. Full location disclosed on approval. Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in and get set up.
Agenda
4:00 – 4:10pm | Welcome and framing — Meet other participants, get an overview of the session, and get ready to build.
4:10 – 4:25pm | Stripe Projects overview and project ideas — See how Stripe Projects helps you set up and manage a development stack from the terminal.
4:25 – 4:40pm | Hackathon setup and instructions — We'll walk through the setup, review project ideas, and use the participant guide to get ready to build.
4:40 – 5:10pm | Build with Stripe Projects — Choose a project idea and work with other attendees to use Stripe Projects to initialize your stack, add a service, and start building.
5:10 – 5:15pm | Leaderboard submission — If you completed a project, share it on the leaderboard using the event keyword.
5:15 – 5:30pm | Share and discuss — Share what you built, the service you added, and your process with the group. We'll close by covering next steps with Stripe Projects, including how to manage your stack as your business grows.
