dear reader: october meeting
join us for our october dear reader meeting as we dive into the night she disappeared by lisa jewell.
a beautiful summer night. a charming english suburb. a young couple who vanish after a party at a sprawling country estate. and a mysterious note that reads, “dig here.”
whether you found yourself piecing together the clues, questioning what might be buried in the dark place, or developing theories about what happened that night, we'd love to hear what you thought.
we'll spend the evening talking about our favorite moments, the mysteries and questions that kept us guessing, the details that stood out, and all the theories we couldn't stop thinking about.
we'll also have plenty of time to get to know fellow local swifties who love books just as much as they love taylor.
coffee, tea, soda, water, and light snacks will be provided. just bring yourself, your theories, and your copy of the book if you'd like to reference it during the discussion.
can't finish the book before october 25th? that's okay! you're still welcome to join us wherever you are in the book. just keep in mind that there will be spoilers during the discussion.
dear reader is about finding the stories that stay with us, sharing them with people who understand why they matter, and finding a little taylor magic along the way.
i can't wait to spend the evening talking books, mysteries, and all things the night she disappeared with you!
please note: there will be two cats in attendance! if you are allergic, it may be better to join us next month!
