This half-day retreat is for you if you’re sensing that something more is calling, but the noise of daily life makes it hard to hear. Maybe you’re in a season of transition, wondering what’s next, or simply longing to pause and reconnect with yourself.

It’s especially for you if you:

The Retreat Journey

  • Arrival & Connection – Settle into the Kominka’s atmosphere and join a guided peer conversation to gently get to know one another.

  • Sound Bath Centering – Guided by Nanako Aramaki (Zensō), immerse in the soothing vibrations of Tibetan singing bowls. These tones calm the mind and body, preparing you to go inward.

  • Inner Vision Activation – Continue to tune inward with a guided visualization, where you travel through your imagination to meet the vision that’s already alive within you and bring it into focus.

  • Embodiment Practice – Step into this future version of yourself as if it’s already real, sharing your story in the present tense with others. This playful exercise helps your brain open to new possibilities.

  • Celebration & Sharing – Mark this moment with gratitude and light refreshments, raising a glass of sparkling bubbles together.

  • Daruma Eye Painting Ritual – End by painting both eyes of your Daruma doll at once, a bold gesture of commitment and gratitude. Your Daruma becomes a reminder of who you are and the vision you carry.

What’s Yoshuku?

Yoshuku is the Japanese art of pre-celebration—celebrating a future outcome as if it’s already happened.

Take hanami as an example. This tradition began with farmers gathering under cherry blossoms to celebrate an abundant harvest in advance. By doing so, they believed they could attract that future into reality.

In this workshop, we’ll use the power of yoshuku to celebrate your goals as if they’re already achieved—tapping into that same energy to turn your intentions into reality.

You did it, it’s done!

What is a Daruma?

A daruma is a traditional Japanese symbol of perseverance and goal-setting. Normally, you fill in one eye when you set a goal and the other when it’s complete.

Here, you’ll paint both eyes at onceanchoring both your commitment and gratitude here and now.

A mini-daruma is included, and larger ones will be available on-site (¥3,300 incl. tax). Please contact [email protected] if you’d like to reserve one in advance.

What is a Sound Bath?

Sound bathing is based on the idea that everything vibrates. Tibetan singing bowls create deep, harmonious tones that gently interact with your body and nervous system.

These vibrations guide you out of stress and into rest, bypassing the busy mind and reaching deeper layers—helping you release tension and reconnect with your true self.

The Neuroscience Behind It

Our brains and bodies are shaped by what we experience.

  • During the sound bath, vibrations calm the nervous system and open the door to deeper reflection.

  • When you visualize and pre-celebrate your vision (yoshuku), your brain releases dopamine, sparking motivation and excitement. Your Reticular Activating System (RAS) also kicks in, helping you notice opportunities that align with your vision.

  • By embodying your future self as if it’s already real, you strengthen new neural pathways—making possibilities feel closer and more natural.

  • Finally, the Daruma ritual anchors this inner work with a tangible symbol you can see and hold.

Together, sound, imagination, celebration, and anchoring create a reset that helps you leave calmer, clearer, and more connected to yourself.

Your Guides

  • Lana Iwabuchi (Rocklit) — A former corporate leader at Mitsui and Amazon, Lana reached the peak of her career only to feel lost and disconnected from her success. Turning inward and listening to her emotions gave her clarity and revealed a truer path. Today, as a coach and leadership facilitator, she helps others reconnect with themselves so they too can lead and live with an open heart.

  • Nanako Aramaki (Zensō) Once an agency COO who experienced burnout firsthand, Nanako is now a certified sound therapist and wellness coach. Having lived on three continents and toured the world as a professional flamenco dancer, she brings both a global outlook and an embodied sense of rhythm to her work—supporting others to relax, restore balance, and reconnect with their true selves.

  • Monika Sadkiewicz (Rocklit) — As Rocklit’s Director of Community & Strategic Partnerships, Monika draws on over a decade of experience as an educator to create gatherings where people feel truly supported. After teaching children, teenagers, and young adults, she chose to focus on building communities that foster growth, connection, and shared purpose. Guided by the same care she once gave her students, Monika ensures that every participant feels seen, heard, and safe—so they can connect meaningfully and unlock their highest potential.
