Portland’s combat robotics community is taking over the PSU Business Accelerator for two days of bracket-style mayhem.
Whether you’re bringing a bot or coming to watch the carnage, join builders, drivers, and fans from across the Pacific Northwest as ant-class robots battle for supremacy.
The Essentials

Competition Format
Each weight class will complete its bracket in a single day, so builders only need to attend on the day their class competes.
Saturday, July 25
Plastic Antweight
Our most popular class opens the weekend with the largest projected field.
Sunday, July 26
Antweight and Fairyweight
Standard antweights and lightning-fast fairyweights close out the showdown.
The class schedule is the current working plan and will be confirmed before registration.

Projected field: Approximately 35 plastic antweights, 35 antweights, and 30 fairyweights, subject to the 100-bot event cap.
Register to Compete
The field is limited to 100 bots, and Pacific Northwest events can fill quickly. Register early to secure your spot.
Every robot must comply with the SPARC ruleset. Builders should also bring:
A compatible transmitter and receiver
A LiPo balance charger
A fire-resistant LiPo charging and storage bag
Any tools, batteries, and spare parts needed for repairs

New to Combat Robotics?
Ant-class robots are one of the easiest ways to enter the sport. You don’t need a machine shop or years of experience—kits and proven plans can get a first-time builder into the arena.

Additional Gear
Transmitter: The FlySky FS-i6X is a widely used beginner-friendly option. Make sure your transmitter and receiver use compatible protocols.
Charger: Use a proper LiPo balance charger, such as the SKYRC B6 Neo.
Battery safety: A fire-resistant LiPo charging and storage bag is non-negotiable.
For Spectators
Come watch some of the region’s best builders go head-to-head. Three classrooms will provide spectator seating, with large displays streaming the action so you can follow every match.
No robot required—just show up and enjoy the mayhem.
