About Event
Hey PauseAI Australia members! 👋
I'm back from PauseCON London and want to share my thoughts, tips and insights. I'll cover two themes:
How to communicate AI risk effectively
Grassroots movement and community building
Key takeaways:
Be grounded and use concrete examples. Call out systems and incentives, not individuals.
We're not doomers. We're asking questions.
Give one clear takeaway per conversation, and keep cold emails short with one ask.
Local MP outreach is a must, and so is mapping who has influence in Australia.
Build coalitions and be consistent online (Bluesky and X).
