Decoding Angel Investment
Join us for a candid, zero-fluff virtual chat with Nishanth Lingamneni. As a Product Leader turned LP & Angel, Nishanth's perspective is fresh, pragmatic, and highly relevant to founders building in today's landscape.
Nishanth will break down exactly how he decides where to deploy his capital, the importance of founder-investor relationships, and how he filters through the noise to find the right teams to back.
What we’ll cover:
The Hook: What actually catches an angel's eye in a cold email, an intro, or a pitch deck.
The Filter: How an angel evaluates early-stage teams, and the "must-haves" vs. "nice-to-haves"
The Process & Timelines: How diligence really works for an individual check-writer and realistic timeframes for getting to a "yes."
The Dealbreakers: Common red flags that kill a deal before it even gets started.
Beyond the Check: How the best founders engage with angels for mentorship and strategic value post-investment.
Who should attend?
✅ Early-stage founders currently raising (or planning to raise)
✅ Aspiring founders who want to understand the true mechanics of early-stage capital.
What this is not
❌ A pitch session
Come ready with your questions! We’ll leave plenty of time for an interactive Q&A at the end of the chat.
