Commit Athens: a free afternoon hackathon
Commit Athens is a free, small hackathon run by students, at the Community Centre in Galatsi. We pick the teams, you pick the idea.
How it works: at 13:00 five names come out of a bowl, and those five are your team. You get three hours to build something that runs, using whatever you like, AI tools included. At 16:30 every team shows what it made in four minutes. Then it's over.
No ticket, no fee, no experience needed. About half the room doesn't study computer science. Run in English, so Erasmus students are welcome. Bring a laptop and a charger.
