Ear Seed & Beads Acupuncture Workshop
This practice didn't start in a clinic.
In the 1970s, the Young Lords and Black Panthers built their own healthcare — in the streets, in community centers, in Mott Haven. Auricular acupuncture was part of that work. A tool for healing stress, trauma, and disconnection that communities put directly in each other's hands.
That lineage is alive. And on April 4, we're bringing it to Harlem.
Juan Cortez with Radical Health will lead this hands-on workshop- teaching the same ear seed application techniques used in trauma-informed care, substance use recovery, and everyday community wellness.
No needles. No medical background required. Just you, your hands, and knowledge you can carry with you.
What you'll walk away with:
✔️ Certification in auricular ear seed application
✔️ Starter kit with seeds + beads
✔️ NADA protocol knowledge
✔️ Trauma-informed touch + consent practices
✔️ How to bring this practice into your own spaces and community
This workshop is for you if:
You work with community, in healthcare, or in healing spaces. You want tools you can use on yourself and the people you love. You believe healing belongs to all of us, not just clinics
