About Event

Are you a UX researcher from Berlin/Germany and want to meet other UXRs, leaders, educators, and mentors from Berlin? Then this event is for you. Whether you are a qual, quant, or mixed-methods researcher, you'll find our discussion on the mixed-methods UXR skillset stimulating.

With this UXR Meetup series, we aim to create a safe space for critical conversations in the UX Research community.

About the Event:

During this event, we will examine the role of mixed-methods UXR. While this job title is gaining popularity, there's no clear definition of what skillset is expected from researchers carrying this title. Expectations vary across different orgs, industries, and countries.

We will rely on the UXR hive mind to outline the profile of a mixed-methods UXR in Germany. If you haven't done so yet, please take our short anonymous survey on the UXR skill set to help us learn what qual, quant, and mixed-methods UXR profiles look like in Germany.

This project aims to increase transparency around expectations from mixed-methods UXRs.

About the Organizer

Employed.world is community of hiring managers, mentors, coaches, and job seekers in UX and product in Berlin/Germany. In the current job market, there are many highly capable people finding it hard to navigate the market and often feeling that the journey is isolated. No matter if you are a junior, mid-level, senior, new manager, or even a leader. Imposter syndrome, self-doubts, and often a lack of support are among the many hurdles one faces. On the other hand, we have so many professionals in UX and Product including working professionals, seniors, and mentors who would be happy to share their experiences and help someone in need. So we are attempting to increase the interaction between these two groups through our events.

You can join the community from our WhatsApp link invite which will be shared at the event.

About the venue partner

JetBrains is a software development company working on pro tools created with {developers}, teams, and businesses in mind.
