Korean Glass Art Workshop [3 Hrs]

​Discover a new glass art experience in Amsterdam and create your own Amsterdam-inspired photoframe using the KGAD (Korean Glass Art Design) technique.

​KGAD is a contemporary Korean craft method that recreates the stained-glass look without traditional glass cutting or soldering. Instead of working with heavy tools or sharp glass, participants focus on design composition and assembly using safe, beginner-friendly materials. The result is a modern glass-art piece that is both decorative and personal.

​For this special Heart & Seoul edition, we are introducing a brand-new design created exclusively for the event.

​During the workshop, you will create your own miniature Amsterdam house frame designed to hold a photobooth picture, turning a simple photo into a meaningful keepsake connected to your time in Amsterdam. You are welcome to bring your own photobooth photo to insert into the frame.

​Don’t have a photobooth pic? You can also visit Suunsu Photobooth, located only a 9-minute walk from the Heart & Seoul popup, before or after the workshop to take your own photos with friends, partners, or family.

​Prefer not to include a photo? You can simply create your own Amsterdam house artwork as a decorative piece to take home.

​This workshop is designed to be beginner friendly and no prior experience is needed. Throughout the session, you will be guided step-by-step while learning the basics of the KGAD method, including composition, film application, and assembly techniques.
