​​Grand Rounds is an intimate dinner series for the SF / Bay Area healthcare community.

​Hosted by Aditya Narayan (biotech & life sciences), Mat Giladi (healthcare SaaS), and Abhi Ghavalkar (care delivery), the series brings founders, investors, clinicians, researchers, and operators around a single table for good food, drinks, and off-the-record conversation.

​For this edition, we’re going deep on brain-computer interfaces and the emerging neurotechnology stack with Dr. Mylea Charvat.

​Mylea is a Stanford-trained clinical neuroscientist, repeat healthtech executive, and one of the Bay Area’s longtime builders at the intersection of neuroscience and technology. She founded Savonix, an early digital neurocognitive assessment company that helped bring rigorous cognitive testing out of specialty clinics and onto software; later served as Chief Medical Officer of neurotechnology company Altoida; and has gone on to lead and advise companies across diagnostics, AI, precision medicine, and digital health. Across more than a decade in the field, she has worked on the full journey from neuroscience and clinical evidence to product, regulation, commercialization, and ultimately getting new technology into patients’ hands.

​We’re bringing together a small group of founders, scientists, investors, clinicians, engineers, and operators working across BCI, neurotech, brain health, AI, diagnostics, and adjacent fields from both San Francisco and the South Bay.

​The conversation will range from what is becoming technically possible in brain-computer interfaces to the much harder questions that come next: where the most compelling clinical applications are, what it takes to turn extraordinary neuroscience into a real product, how AI changes the neurotech landscape, what actually survives regulatory and reimbursement realities, and where the next generation of category-defining companies might emerge.

​This is not a panel or a conference dinner. It’s meant to be intimate and informal: one table, great food and drinks, and a room full of people who know enough about the space to have an interesting conversation — and are curious enough to challenge one another.

​After each dinner, attendees are invited into the broader Grand Rounds community to stay connected and collaborate with people from past gatherings.
