​Often dismissed as just a moving <img> tag, the <video> element is the unsung hero of the modern web.
We’re going to unpack the architecture of continuous playback and get our hands dirty with the raw mechanics under the hood: frames, bitrates, codecs, and manifest files.
We’ll see how these raw building blocks play together by creating our own YouTube clone from scratch.
