José Luis Cordeiro, PhD Founding Faculty member of Singularity University, renowned engineer, economist, futurist, and transhumanist. Author of The Death of Death, he focuses on life extension, cryonics, and economic development. In line with Ray Kurzweil's forecasts, Cordeiro predicts that death will be optional by 2045 — thanks to advances in AI, tissue regeneration, stem cell treatments, organ printing, cryopreservation, and genetic therapies.
