AI Salon Kansai

​AI Salon is a global community by and for AI-focused founders, builders, investors, and enterprise partners. The format is a monthly in-person event featuring lightning talks from startups with a presence in Japan. AI Salon has already launched successful chapters in Tokyo and Nagoya to facilitate communication between AI entrepreneurs, developers, investors, and corporates. Their avatars engage customers and boost effectiveness in sectors such as training, healthcare, education, and others.

  • ​NEI Japan (Frith Maier, Founder & CEO): NEI develops Ada, a personalizing AI aide for professionals working in English as a second language with their tech-human hybrid learning platform.

We recently crossed 1m downloads and raised pre-seed round from founders of Ripple, Solana, NEAR; researchers at Meta, Tesla and others. Yuriy previously worked at Meta and YC startups, grew up in Ukraine, Japan, Canada, and is now based in SF. We're hiring if you want to join or know great engineers, designers or community folks.
