AI agents are evolving beyond just chatbots and are starting to truly get things done. From researching and booking travel to managing calendars, automating workflows, and acting as personal assistants, the possibilities are expanding quickly. But with so many options, how do you decide which one is right for you?

This week at AI Café, we'll dive into the fast-changing world of personal AI agents through a live, interview-style conversation. We'll explore what's working, what's not, and where the technology is headed.

You'll hear comparisons between plug-and-play tools like Muse, GrokBot, Dots, and Instinct, as well as more customizable open-source agents. We'll look at real-world use cases, limitations, privacy, security, and how much control these tools really offer.

Whether you're searching for an AI assistant to make everyday life easier or hoping to build something more advanced for your business, you'll leave with a clearer sense of which tools are worth exploring—and why.

ABOUT: Mason Tompkins

I build and explain complex things simply. Forward-Deployed Engineer at Stan.

I've spent 10 years as a content producer. Scripting, editing, filming, motion graphics, CGI. Then I started building software, and something clicked: making a great video and shipping a great product are the same muscle… understand a person, remove friction, deliver something that lands. This is the path that got me from a YouTube channel to building software.
