AI Governance After Hours - San Francisco
AI Governance After Hours brings enterprise leaders, practitioners, founders, and investors together in downtown San Francisco for an informal evening of drinks and conversation about what AI governance actually takes to execute.
Tuesday, September 22 | 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM | Downtown San Francisco, a short walk from Montgomery BART
Hosted by AI Realized
AI is shipping faster than governance can keep up. The frameworks exist. The execution doesn't. And the people working on closing that gap deserve a drink.
No slides. No panels. No pitch decks. Just the right people in the right room.
AI Realized is bringing together the practitioners, founders, investors, and enterprise leaders who treat responsible AI as an engineering discipline, not a checkbox.
This is not a conference session. It's an informal social: a room full of people who care about AI governance, a few stories about what happens when it goes wrong, and a West Coast community that plans to keep showing up.
The first one, in May, was one of our most popular networking events. We hold these about six times a year.
What to expect
6:00 PM. Doors open. Grab a drink, meet people.
6:30 PM. Brief welcome from AI Realized.
Open networking for the rest of the evening.
Out by 8:30, with a few names worth following up on.
No-host bar, so everyone covers their own drinks. No ticket price, no cover.
Who's in the room
Executives, director and above, leading AI adoption inside the enterprise, alongside the founders building governance tooling for them and the consultants running these programs on their behalf. Governance is where the enterprise, the startups, and the advisors all have something the others need, so we put them in the same room on purpose.
CTOs and CIOs
VPs of Engineering
AI/ML leads
Compliance, risk, and legal leaders
Product builders
Founders
Investors
If you're building AI systems, investing in them, deploying them inside an enterprise, or trying to figure out how to govern them, this is your crowd. Anyone who has ever lost sleep over what their AI is doing when nobody is watching will find company here.
Why come
Compare notes with peers solving the same problem right now
Hear what actually broke in early deployments, from the people it broke on
Find the two or three people worth following up with next week
Build the West Coast bench for this work
Location and registration
The venue is in downtown San Francisco, a short walk from Montgomery BART.
Every registration is reviewed before it's approved, and the exact address is shared with you once you're in. We do it this way on purpose: it's how we keep the room to people who are actually doing this work, which is the whole reason the conversation is worth having.
Coming by car? There's a parking deck near Moscone at 5th and Mission, and several more in the hotels nearby.
Space is limited. Request your spot early.
