AMD Developer Hackathon: ACT III — Rome
Build AI agents and high-performance AI applications on AMD GPUs in the cloud and bring your project to Rome
The AMD Developer Hackathon: ACT III is an event for developers, founders, engineers, students, and AI builders ready to turn ambitious ideas into working products.
On October 17–18, participants will meet at Link Campus University in Rome to collaborate, receive hands-on support, and showcase their projects live.
What you’ll build
Create an end-to-end AI application, agent, or developer tool powered by AMD technology.
You’ll work with AMD GPUs in the cloud and the ROCm open-source software stack. Everything runs in the cloud, so there is no local hardware to configure — you can focus on experimenting, building, and testing your idea.
Possible directions include:
AI agents and autonomous workflows
High-performance AI and machine learning applications
Model training and fine-tuning
AI workload benchmarking
Developer tools built around AMD’s compute stack
Porting and optimizing existing AI workloads for AMD GPUs
Tracks and detailed challenges will be announced before the kickoff.
Why join us in Rome?
The Rome edition will take place at Link Campus University, located in the historic Casale di San Pio V campus.
During the two-day on-site experience, you’ll be able to:
Build alongside other developers and founders
Get technical guidance and hands-on support
Meet members of the local and international AI community
Refine your project before the submission deadline
Present your work live during the final pitching session
Compete for a share of the $5,000 prize pool
Who should attend?
This event is for:
