AV Academy Bootcamp: Menlo Park

​AV Academy VC Bootcamp A half-day experience for Alumni Ventures members who are ready to go from curious to confident.

​The AV Academy VC Bootcamp is a working session for current and prospective AV members who want to understand venture capital as a discipline. You’ll learn how the asset class works, how returns are built, how investors actually evaluate a deal, and what that means for you as an investor.

​The day moves through VC 101, 201, 301, and 401 from the foundation vocabulary through mechanics, deal evaluation, and the AV lens and closes with a live evaluation of a real AV deal, using a professional investor framework.

​What you'll walk away with:

​By the end of the day, you'll be able to make a confident yes or no decision on an investment opportunity and how to start approaching your venture investing plan.

​We'll close the day with a live deal drop: a real syndication opportunity, available to all attendees. No pressure to invest. But for many people, this is the moment they make their first one.
