Youth Climate Parliament 2026

​An immersive parliamentary simulation where young people deliberate, negotiate and respond to regional climate policy challenges in India.

​The Youth Climate Parliament 2026 is parliamentary simulation bringing together 25 to 35 university students and young professionals representing ministries, state governments, industry, trade unions and public health bodies. Participants will deliberate on the “Climate Resilience and Just Transition Framework” through parliamentary committees focusing on urban heat, labour and public health, energy transition and industry, and air quality and agriculture.

​The simulation will include committee debates, an unexpected heatwave crisis, amendment negotiations and a final plenary vote. The programme aims to provide practical exposure to climate governance, legislative processes, policy negotiation, stakeholder engagement and crisis-responsive decision-making.
