Claude Code Meetup Kansas City
Join the Claude Code community in Kansas City for an evening of live demos, hands on building, and conversation with local AI builders.
Whether you are a regular Claude Code user or just curious about agentic coding in the terminal, you will meet other builders, see real workflows, and leave with practical ideas you can use.
AI Collective Kansas City is partnering with Anthropic to bring the Claude Code community to KC.
We will keep the vibe relaxed with food, drinks, and plenty of time to network, learn, and build. Bring your laptop if you want to code along, or just come to watch demos and meet the community.

We will wrap the core program by around 8:15 PM. You can head out then or stay longer to hack, ask questions, and connect with other attendees.
Claude Code Q and A with Anthropic
We will host a live remote Q and A with a member of the Technical Staff at Anthropic. They will walk through how Claude Code is used in real development environments, share practical advice, and answer your questions about workflows, patterns, and the broader Claude ecosystem.
What to Bring
Bring a laptop if you want to build along, plus any questions or projects where you think Claude Code could help. All experience levels are welcome, including complete beginners.

What is Claude Code?
Claude Code is Anthropic's agentic coding tool that runs directly in your terminal. You describe what you want in natural language, and Claude can read files, make edits, run commands, and iterate with you until the task is complete or ready for next steps. It feels like pair programming with an AI that can actually touch your code.
Capacity and Community Note
Space is limited. If we reach capacity, we will prioritize a mix of experience levels and backgrounds to keep the room balanced.
