CREATE Grid Innovation Summit 2026 Reception
Join us on Monday, December 1 at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh for an evening of networking to kick off the CREATE Grid Innovation Summit.
Demand for reliable electricity is growing faster than it has in decades. New manufacturing is ramping up across Western PA and West Virginia, and AI and data centers are adding load to the grid at an unprecedented pace. Meeting that moment will take everyone.
This reception brings together utilities, manufacturers, roboticists, energy startups, researchers, and regional leaders to connect around the future of energy infrastructure in our region. Whether you’re building, investing in, or simply curious about what’s next for the grid, you’re welcome to join us.
The reception is free and open to interested community members and leaders. Registration is required.
Hosted by the Robotics Factory, a program of Innovation Works, in partnership with the Resilient Energy Technology and Infrastructure (RETI) Consortium, an NSF Regional Innovation Engine led by West Virginia University with the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University.
