Date Yourself Workshop (Members Only)
The relationship we have with ourselves is undoubtedly the most important relationship we have in our whole lives, but often it is the one that is most neglected.
The simple act and intention of prioritizing our relationship with ourselves can dramatically change the course our lives. When we become the source of love and stop seeking love externally, we embody the joy and love from within.
In this 4-week circle, we will deepen the relationship with ourselves through various activities we can do on our own and together, and share our experiences with them.
Participants are asked to fully commit to the 4-week experience to fully dedicate this time to deepening self-relationship. This will be a safe container to honestly and authentically explore the relationship we have with ourselves.
The schedule is as follows:
1st Week: Setting Intention
Inner child meditation
Learn how to decipher/listen to your feelings and emotions without having to set aside time for meditation/journaling
Have a discussion on what part of our relationship with ourselves we would like to improve, and what we do not like about ourselves
We will have exercises that we can follow to directly work on this
Homework:
Write a letter or record a video for your future self, 4 weeks from now
Set aside time to go outside on a date with yourself to a new place you haven't been in San Francisco (see it as a sacred time to connect with yourself)
2nd Week: Making Up With Ourselves
Share our experiences and what we felt during the date with ourselves
Talk about the ways in which we de-prioritize ourselves and our feelings and set intention to do less of that
Discussion on how and why the way we treat our emotions is how we treat ourselves
Homework:
Try a simple 10-15 minute exercise/skincare routine to spend time with yourself for a week
Write a genuine letter of apology to ourselves and our inner child, and reconcile with ourselves
3rd week: Deepening Self-Love and Self-Trust
Activity: Make a gift box for yourself/your inner child
Discuss our love languages and how we can fulfill them ourselves, and how to shift our perspective to self-compassion and self-love
Homework:
Look at yourself in the eye in the mirror for 15 minutes
Talk to yourself for 30 minutes (or longer) and actively ask questions to yourself
List of sample questions will be provided
4th Week: Change in Perspective and Reflection
Guided meditation on how to listen to your intuition and connect with your true self
Discussion on unconditional self-compassion and how to apply it in our lives: why shame/self-hatred are not useful tools for invoking positive self change, and how to overcome that barrier
Talk about tools and strategies to continue to implement what we have realized during this experience
Reflect on our 4 week journey and share what we have learned about ourselves
